Stephen and Glenys were in Glasgow recently for the SAIF AGM Banquet Weekend. It was a chance to meet with other independent funeral directors and discuss issues facing the industry, with a focus on the current health crisis.
The outgoing National President, Jim Auld, was able to present the charity Breast Cancer Care with a cheque for £12,000 raised by SAIF members throughout the year. Mark Porteous, was welcomed as the new National President; his charity for the year is Winston’s Wish.
