Meadow of Memories

Tester & Jones Funeral Services is dedicating a butterfly in the Hospice in the Weald Meadow of Memories tribute and you can do the same. By dedicating a handcrafted metal butterfly for a suggested minimum donation of £35, you can honour the memory of a loved one while supporting Hospice in the Weald. In fact, a number of team members are doing just that.

Hundreds of butterflies will be displayed at the National Trust property, Scotney Castle, Lamberhurst, from 17 to 26 May to create a collective tribute of remembrance. If you make your dedication by Tuesday 22 April, then the charity will ensure your loved one’s name is displayed alongside the butterfly. Afterwards, you will receive your butterfly as a lasting tribute to keep in your home or garden.

“By dedicating a butterfly, I’m not only honouring Darryl but also helping others receive the care that meant so much to us,” says Angela, who shared her story in memory of her partner Darryl. “Please consider dedicating a butterfly or donating. Your kindness will bring comfort to families when they need it most.”

On the final day of the installation – Monday 26 May from 5.00pm to 7.00pm – there will be a special gathering at the Meadow of Memories. There will be some words and music and an opportunity to collect your butterfly dedication in person afterwards.
