Here at Tester & Jones Funeral Services, we know that some people welcome the peace of mind of having a pre-paid funeral plan in place, to reduce worry and stress for their loved ones.
We offer plans from Ecclesiastical Planning Services and are pleased to share the news that Glenys Jones is now approved to offer Ecclesiastical funeral plans to our families (along with Jo Walsh, who has been approved now for a number of years). To gain this certification, Glenys had to complete and pass 40 modules.
Originally founded in 1887 as the Ecclesiastical Buildings Fire Office to protect Anglican churches and church buildings against the risk of fire, the name Ecclesiastical has stayed with the firm since then. Today, the firm offers insurance across a broad range of specialisms, including faith, charity, heritage, education, art and private client, real estate and schemes, across Ireland, Canada and the UK. It is also an Associate Member of SAIF.
Planning your own funeral may be the last thing on your mind but choosing the funeral you want and making provision in advance makes sound practical and financial sense. A funeral plan enables you to cover our costs (as long as your requirements don’t change). Your family won’t be asked to pay a penny more, regardless of how long you live or what happens to costs in the meantime. You can also include a contribution towards third party funeral costs to ease the financial burden for your family when the time comes.
On the practical side, you can choose the type of funeral you want, including any special wishes such as music and readings.
