We've heard from members of our Bereavement Support Group that one of the many things they miss when a loved one has died is having a companion to visit the theatre or cinema with. For this reason, we organise regular trips to the theatre, both in Tunbridge Wells and London.
Recently, a group of our members also went along to one of the Friday cinema nights at Crowborough Community Centre organised by Pine Grove Pictures. They joined together for a pre-cinema meal in the Centre’s café and then enjoyed a showing of ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’.
They are already looking forward to attending February’s film, ‘The Post’ with Tom Hanks and Meryl Steep, while the March offering is likely to be very popular, as it’s set locally – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’.
